UK bashing

I'm gonna go clamming on that beach, since it's fucking pouring out. Sigh.

Same. It just clicked in my retard head that this is perfect for this sub.

Your toilet sucks ass.

Where's this, England? Haha stupid old timey toilet.

Coastal, rural Spain. It's actually quite lovely, but the rain and fog is obscuring the amazing views.

Same as everyone else on this sub.. watching footy down the pub

You guys get games for free or do you have to pay for special packages for them like over here?

Pay through the fuckin nose mate.. and they split the games over different providers so they can squeeze more money out of you too

Pieces of shit. It's even worse in Spain, where the economy is a disaster. They'll play a regional game on occasion, almost always against the lesser of the tables, and occasionally show a big game nationally, but it's also spread out through various providers, and different channels. You'd think they'd at least placate the masses with some futbol during these grim times, but know, to the bars people go, to spend even more money they don't have, on even more vices. It's fucking sick.

Football is religion in Spain.. it's the only thing that brings them joy

It's religion in most of the world, but, especially in these fucked up times, and very especially during this massive economic downturn, people don't have shit as to do besides take in a game, which they can't even do from the comfort of their houses anymore. They end up in the bars, digging themselves further in trouble, I would imagine much like the poor Mancs and Scousers over there. It's diabolical. What's worse even, the youth stopped caring about the game largely, and are now glued to their infernal smart phones dicking around like a bunch of queers. In this small town alone, I can't tell you how many kids, some of whom I used to play with whenever I'd visit from NYC during the summer breaks, who were stellar players. Played in the second here, some with decent success. Now, the kids, who are actually interested in the game have to travel an hour or so away for competition, and for trials for bigger teams. But, even then, that's expensive.
