Pretty obvious that Patton Oswalt is the Golden State Killer and his wife was closing in on him, so he took her out. Say what you will about Patton, but he is a pretty accomplished murderer.
And you know he had to skew the narrative of that book to throw the scent off him. Add "obstruction of justice" to the list of crimes committed by this unbelievable low-life.
