Yes, and it's not pleasant. It probably depends on how high your daily dosage is, but I've had some pretty rough WD symptoms from it. If you'd detoxed from real opiates I'm sure it's a walk in the park by comparison, but otherwise it can be pretty awful. Because kratom is teetering right on the edge of being banned, people are hesitant to admit that, which I understand.
That being said, people generally don't advocate for daily use of it unless it's as a replacement for a similar opiate habit, in which case I have to imagine it's a better option for your health and sanity.
