I never actually saw this until now. I love how he mentions "if we could do it" in reference to the gig.

Your calendar is barren as the pubis of the kids you fuck.

Been years since I checked out what's going on around here.

Earlier, I wondered what Opie was up to. He was fired?

Noticed this article:

Is he even doing any radio shows these days?

I started listening to these guys not long after they got on XM. They would do terrestrial and then walk over to XM. When they were on terrestrial, it was funnier, for whatever reason.

I'd work at night driving around and would listen to every show live as it started. Tuned in for years. Hung in there for months, after Ant got axed. That's when shit really went south.

The shows were pretty bad though for a few seasons before then. They'd sit around bickering about whatever in the news and not as much "funny". It was too much of Ant ranting for half an hour about racism. No more comedy bits they'd put time into. They stopped doing Jocktober because they were worried about getting sued. No more hot women visiting the studio.

You knew things took a nosedive when the show used to be classified under "comedy" and they changed it to being listed under "entertainment". They knew they weren't as funny any more. They still had comedians stop by though but wasn't as much "funny" for whatever reason. Guys like Louis didn't even bother showing up any more. He knew they stunk.

Then it was Opie and Jim. Too much Sam and his whiney voice. Even less funny going on. Norton being a wuss. It seemed like the women's TV show, "The view". The actual laughter wasn't happening too often. When you'd hear rare chuckles it seemed forced. If something was actually amusing, Opie would do a clip of it. But those were extremely rare. Most of the time, they all sat around clicking their smart phones as they spoke.

I seriously couldn't do it any more and would listen to music instead. Not long after that I changed jobs. Who's got time to sit around listening to whatever they're doing now. Like seriously. You can easily find better things to do with the bit of your spare time after work. Why I used to listen back then was because it was while I was working and not using up my spare time.

Nowadays, it's completely not worth it to be a "fan" because whatever show they're trying to do, is neutered. They're all worried about being sued.

What is up with these jokes about Brother Joe and the pedophilia. Was this based on some actual incident with him?
