Yeah it kinda does. Plastic gallon jug is pretty much the norm here but thoe are common too. Im sure the bag is fine, just a strange difference. Also I guess I just accepted that the opening thing is a "beak". Dont know if thats an american/canadian thing or if ive just never had a reason to refer to it before

Milk was in bags when I was a kid in Vancouver but that's been gone since the early 00's, I think they still have them in eastern Canada

It might not be a thing, English is my second language but it's what we call it in French. Milk in bags is totally strange though, I get it
