Only thing I'd argue is that Artie wasn't hurting for money, he wasn't enabled by having a job. If anything it was a couple hours a day he had to be sober enough to talk. ("Sober" in this context means less high than usual.)
Ant is his co-host, not his sponsor. Behind the scenes he very well may have said "dude you gotta calm down with that shit" or maybe he didn't, either way it is not his responsibility.
He needs to realize that the actions he endorsed in the distant and even recent past have contributed to the reactions he and his family have received...both good and bad. If it weren’t for the show, Anthony couldn’t have been the distributor of wealth amongst his family. On the flip side, they have to expect someone will send their ‘thoughts and prayers’. The whole show was based on inside humor and lingering longer. That’s what brought in the checks.
If he doesn’t like it, he can take a page out of Fez and Mr. Hughes’ book. He doesn’t have to work anymore. The ribbing will subside. We will find other things to be distracted with.

Ok i get that. But artie does get break after break. I guess maybe monitor him more. ant had to know he was high during some shows.
