Googled "Dave Chapelle Bird Revelation" to try to find some more info on it, got pages of journos kvitching about how he "defended" Louis CK and "tripled down" on his transgender jokes. That's all that they talk about. There was real shit in there, real venom, and genuinely upsetting, actually boundary pushing shit. But what gets clicks is accusing the mister meany man of saying mister meany things.

Go watch the two specials. Then watch something "safe." Watch Samantha Bee or Amy Schumer or Aziz Ansari or Sara Silverman. There is a They, and They have chosen what you're going to be allowed to watch and enjoy. It just turns my fucking guts inside out.
