He was by far the weakest link in his show with Stephen Merchant and Karl Pilkington, so I think the show is gonna be shit but he is a name and people love a name.
The gervais show is terrible apart from one show but he wasn't the funny part of it. He gets millions for it. And its free on iTunes and YouTube legally outside of the US.
Gervais is just cashing in on his name and he knows this dummy Meyer doesn't expect anything. The idea that Gervais would bring in even one paying subscriber is a fantasy. But I love that this meathead decided Ellis and Depalo are good at radio... oofa...
