Wasn't the first fight with Jim partially because he thought Jim was going over the line bashing the XM bosses for not advertising them? The main reason was obviously the guest Jim wanted in, but I seem to remember Opie was kissing ass and telling Jim things were about to turn around which Jim was pissed at.
The show the following morning recapping the drumming in the elevator with Sal was so douchey too. I think he said that he winked at Sal when they got caught to reassure him it would be ok. And Opie kept repeating that some exec asked him "on what planet was that a good idea?"
I remember when this happened, the next day Opie told the story about how the security guy was the asshole for not just being cool and letting an adult hold up the elevator of an entire office building because he wanted to shoot a cell phone video for his youtube clips. He was mad the security guy didn't react like a mischievous teenager would
