I got the shit beat out of me by seven guys once. I knew it was going to happen and there was no way I could come out on top. Going to that subreddit just now gave me the exact same feeling I felt while I was waiting for them to start swinging.
It's ok. I'm a mod there but i'm not an "active" one. I don't so much care about the look or even the shit posting. I just hate that people in this sub delete shit. I became a mod for the sole reason of keeping the place an open discussion.
Ah, yes, what a great community. Sure, there's somewhere between zero and 2 posts a day over there. But it looks clean. What more could you ask for?
I'm glad the mods are making that a priority here. Sometimes I find that there are a few too many funny posts here and the lack of cleanliness really just is not up to my standard.

The only threads I've gotten rid of are the ones that are just reposts from Facebook with some half-cocked pseudo-political statement that has nothing to do with the shows, and has zero attempt at humor. At the very least, suggest that somebody should slip in a puddle of AIDS.
There's funny stuff in the comments of those a lot of the time IMO (unless I misunderstand what type of post you're referring to). I'd prefer it was just a free-for-all, but the political faggotry here can be a nightmare so I guess I understand it to an extent.
