I've had exclusively corporate jobs since leaving university, all finance, all high pressure. Money aside, none were as thankless and soul-destroying as those couple of months between finishing school and going to college as working in McDonald's.

If I ever pop in there for a Quarter-Pounder and fries, am always supremely polite to the counter staff. You come across so many cunts in that job, on top of the shitty wages and conditions. Good manners cost nothing, as they say.

Am being generous. Tits would probably last 15 minutes before throwing in the towel.

I did a lot of shitty jobs as a student; cleaned grills, waited on rich cunts, had to take shit off of drunk fuckers without being able to punch them in their windpipes. But am glad I never had to park a fat wop's car for him.

Coincidentally I saw The Founder with micheal keaton the other day. Pretty amazing story how Ray Kroc fucked those mcdonalds brothers over. I would highly recommend it.
