Guy who was so emotionally scarred by The Simpson he made a documentary to bitch about it, is now bitching about Tropic Thunder.

Tropic Thunder does have actual black face in it though- it's satirical but requiring others to accept your standard of satire is pretty rife with its own problems.

But it was a parody of people who would actually do that, kinda missing the point to just shout Ugh, blackface, people say blackface is bad, so it must be bad.

Think about this statement- you're implying that someone who might be offended by blackface isn't smart enough to understand satire, is too knee jerk to participate in the arts, and shouldnt be offended by it because you're not offended by it. Now consider the history of black face, minorities in the entertainment industry, depictions of minorities in the arts etc.

I'm not offended by it, I thought it was funny, but I'm not an asshole who is going to tell a brown person that if he doesnt share my opinion he's just wrong.

Isn't the brown guy telling everyone else how to feel? Seems like he is the asshole looking to be uspet, especially if people don't agree with his views

implying that someone who might be offended by blackface isn't smart enough to understand satire, is too knee jerk to participate

Sadly, that's often the case.

oh just stop

"Standard of satire?" What the fuck is that? It's clearly, absolutely, 100% satire, and anybody who disagrees with that is wrong. The point is made over and over again throughout the film. So, if we accept the premise that people offended by blackface are smart enough to understand it through context and don't have knee-jerk reactions, then they're deliberately being disingenuous cunts for their "offense."

I'm convinced you're running a troll account.

All art is subjective, you cant standardize the values of it where you say well tropic thunder scores a 10 in quality of satire and a 5 in offensiveness giving it a positive value on the satire chart- therefore it's effective satire and not offensive.

Imagine that people might have different feelings from you, and ask yourself why exactly does a brown person owe it to you to not be offended by blackface, or whitewashing or whatever?

Like the piece of gahbage that said, "I didn't think there was anything wrong with it, but you have a point I didn't see before." I hope that person dies. Nothing fancy, just drops dead.

did this queer mention groundskeeper willie in his attention seeking documentary?

Or Fat Tony? Or Akira? Of course not. The Brown man had an accent that isn't that bad, so it's upset him for nearly 30 years.

or Bumblebee Man, or Cleetus, or Luigi, or Krusty's Dad, or Rainier Wolfcastle, or every other ethnic group they have profiled.

I am aware of what Hari is doing with this whiny tweet, but putting an actual joke in with his inane social justice messages is one step too many?

That's a thing I do to pass time. Trying to find an actual joke on some of the Twitter feeds on these social justice spouting "comics"

Jesus can he go after something this decade.

They've effectively stamped out bigotry in modern media & are working on retroactively cleansing history.

what about Tom Cruise as a hairy, bald annoying Jew?

good natured fun

You can’t negotiate with terrorists.

I wonder how he'd react if someone replied with:

I am aware of what White Chicks was doing with The Wayans Brothers' white face/female characters. But hiring a couple of white actresses to play couple of black male cops pretending to be white women is one step too many?

something tells this dude has some skeletons in his closet, just give it time guys.

How many bobs and vagines do you think he's begged underage girls to send him in DMs?

Bobs and vagines? What is this a VFW luncheon?

It's what Indians call boobs and vaginas when they ask girls to send them pics on social media.

He's gone and gotten himself famous for being an SJW comedian... that's the Kilstein route. It doesn't end well.

You can either get famous for being a funny comedian, or you can try on one of those flavors of the week -guaranteeing no one remembers you beyond your 15 minutes: alt-comic, sjw-comic, single-issue-comic, male-feminist-comic... it just gets worse and worse from there until you're telling jokes about ladders climbing you in Soviet Russia.

I remember watching the video for “1979” by The Smashing Pumpkins & thinking “Whoa, look at those white teenagers! I am both intrigued & frightened by them!”

his racist shit and creepiness will be exposed very soon, losing any ground he thought he made with his faggot documentary.

King shit

What's he annoyed about?

If a cartoon upsets you, you are not cut out for life.

he should go after mac from its always sunny next.

See what happens when you give some unfunny attention whore attention for simply whining - you get more whining from him.

the point if the movie was a parody,.. no fuck it. This cunt didnt understand the movie at all if hes upset about RDJs blackface

when he was on Bennington, he said something like "I don't want to be known just as the guy who complains about Apu, so I'm going to focus on my comedy and very different projects".

but that would be difficult, so race baiting sjw shit is his thing now I guess.

I think he may actually be stupid.

I am aware of what Tropic Thunder was doing with Robert Downey Jr’s character. But hiring an actual Australian to play an Aussie actor was a step to far?

This man's primary claim to fame is that pop culture that he clearly misunderstands offends him to such a degree. How disappointed is his shitskin father that Junior's workday consists of being a faggot on Twitter?

This guys brother is in a rap group and doesn't even rap, so it makes sense he's a comedian that doesn't make jokes. Smelly Indian faggot

But it was a parody of people who would actually do that, kinda missing the point to just shout Ugh, blackface, people say blackface is bad, so it must be bad.
