It really is such a classic almost archetypal argument with a narcissist. Two things that I always notice: First notice how the narcissist's first answer to any charge is always 'You do the exact same thing'. It's compulsive and has no real meaning it's simply a deflection. Second notice how during the conversation -- can't remember time point -- the topic of self-awareness comes up. If you listen carefully you realize that the narcissist equates Jim being self aware with Jim noticing how Ant's comments have effected the narcissist.
In other words Jim being 'self aware' in the narcissists universe means being more aware not of Jim but being aware of the feelings of the narcissist. Truly bizarre.
Yeah sometimes I stray from relistening to old clips but when you hear this one everytime it puts it all into perspective... Plus the show where Opie cried. He displays lies, pathetic emotional scrambling, self unaware whining.

Jim's best line of the argument. Still makes me laugh.

My favorite is when he goes "You'll never tell me?" in disbelief.

If ever you wane in your Opie hate, re-listen to this fight. Practically every shitty thing about him is on display in this clip.
