He's great to have around if you need to wrangle some homeless, or find a stable connect for Artie that won't get him arrested. But what qualifies him in even the slightest way to be manage a podcast network? What possible skills does one learn as a cop that transfer over to podcasting? Much less running all of the behind the scenes inner workings.

Keith sucks of course, but I will give him credit for getting The Anthony Cumia Network off the ground within about a month of Anthony's dismissal from SXM. He was clearly self-motivated to open up a revenue stream, and to do a lot of the legwork in getting the NYC studio (even though Ant's show was way better in his basement). None of this qualifies him to be a producer, of course, but Ant needed someone to make it happen and Keith was there and willing.
Opie needed a Keith six months ago--someone, anyone he could trust to move his career into a new phase. At the time of his firing I thought it was a strategic move--that he knew October would be the end for him at the company and that he had something else cooking and would use the heat from his firing to get some attention. But I was wrong.
