It's a Viacom station, so I guess it's a win/win/win - syndication money for those in on The Daily Show, (likely) dirt cheap for BET, and - they hope - some carryover to watch the show on CC.
Still 830,000 people that watch that stupid show. I haven't watched a second since Jon left. I watched pretty much every episode since 2000 with him. I also don't even like Jon anymore. He's way past his sell by date now. So stale and unfunny.
Why would you call a show stupid and then brag about how you've never seen one second of it? The new Daily Show isn't good, but Jon stunk for the last two or three years he was doing it. Colbert Report was the last good thing Comedy Central had on late night.
A few weeks ago I got an "altert' on my android tablet, kind of like those amber alerts pushed to all cell phones during emergencies, that said "We think you would like this video" and it linked to an SNL skit attacking Ray Moore and Jeff Sessions

They became syndicated on BET... So yeah, pretty desperate for ratings.

Viacom has been in a tailspin the last couple years, Robert Bakish is the wrong solution too, he destroyed Nicktoons.
the daily show has the same ratings from when the jew was running the show. Meanwhile the show got renewed for another 5 years.

The only thing sadder is that the Daily Show is nearly doubling Conan's number.

More people watch Family Guy reruns on Cartoon Network.

Adult Swim cleans up the 18-40 male late night demo. It's generally not even close.

Who watches Comedy Central anymore? There's nothing worth watching except South Park reruns, which are all on Hulu...

Let me guess an unfunny Trump joke or an unfunny Trump impression? That’s all he can do.
