He misinterprets every interaction as being uncomfortable to the point that it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy. Nobody is talking because they’re filming you provide your answer, not because their jaws have dropped over a dumb April fools joke.
What a fucking bore. There was literally nothing to that story. At all. Like not even 1 funny detail. Out of all the times he has lied or as he would say "pumps up the story a lil bit" why wouldn't he do it the one time he's on a TV show. What an unfunny, boring, busty, moron.
This was when Opie and Anthony's behind the scenes rift was at its zenith, when Opie threatened his agent with quitting unless he got Opie TV work, and pronto. So his agent presumably called in every favor he had and got Gregg "Dolly Parton" Hughes a brief appearance on a swiftly-cancelled prank show.

Is it even a prank? To just announce a fake death. Hoax, sure, but prank connotes something more elaborate than just saying something that isn't true.

Hoax and pranks are synonyms buddy so either you're a retard or you're stupid.

I can't stand how he awkwardly puts all the nervous energy he has on whoever he's talking to...pauses, states the obvious etc....
douche chills personified

I think a better prank is tricking your washed up radio host husband into raising a fat skateboarder's kids

I love how the lighting makes him look so awful. You know that really bothered him when this came out.

There was a clip out there at one point of him bitching about it.

Remember he used to have that unfunny hack with a cowboy hat and mustache come on his show every other week. Opie is insufferable

He was going to host Punk'd, but he was too edgy.

The greatest trick the Opester ever pulled was convincing the world he wasn't a board op. Sniff

I'm not sure that anyone was convinced of that though, partner.

Who gets the last laugh? Not you, Opie.
1 xBrianSmithx 2017-11-27
Apparently, Bam Magera always getting precedes Opie.
