It just makes for a more enjoyable movie if their is some kind of offensive projection of military power. As opposed to an entire army sitting on a beach waiting for merchant vessels, captained by civilians, to save them. Tom Hardy’s character was the hero in that movie, right?
Nothing happened the whole movie. Every piece of media depicting the Dunkirk evacuation gives the rear guards the shaft, and this movie was no different. The whole reason the beach didn't get swarmed was because of them, but of course the RAF gets all the glory. Faggots.
Wtf is with you cynical faggots? That movie was awesome. I also saw it in imax70mm and you're probably watching a rip off kodi which surely makes a huge difference. But still that movie ruled
I thought it was good, but different. Shows you sometimes there's no glory in war, just a lot of fear, and waiting. It was a typical Nolan artsy movie.
I hated it too. Boring, Mark Rylance has a boring face, unlikable. Boring story. Was hoping they would all die, they didn’t. Christopher Nolan is overrated and I hope it comes out that he likes to rape dogs.

I don't watch movies based off fictional wars.

I thought it was great. The flying scenes were really well done. Why didn't you enjoy it?

I need more PoC in it. Replace Harry Styles with Chance the Rapper.

What's wrong with that?
Does every WWII movie have to be hero-worship?

Actually, it was because of the halt order.
The rearguard "held back" the Germans about as much as a housecat could hold off a burglar, that is to say, it didn't.

Were you hoping a WW2 film would be like the Dark Knight?

He was hoping it would be more American-style, in which they one Dunkirk and stormed The Moon.
