Comedy fans. The new series of "Red Dwarf" is one of the best series of a studio sitcom in years. I highly recommend it to you cynical losers.

Once in a while the Brits make a great sitcom. This is the first good one in years. It's a return to the days of the classic episodes like "Queeg". Red Dwarf is a bit like Curb - they make a new series when they just feel like it. This series they seem to have tapped into what made this show so good in its early years.

It's very clever. Jokes are witty. Lots of black mirror and Star Trek style plots, and zero political humor.

Watch it now before Erock starts telling everybody he's just discovered it.

Holy shit, thanks so much...

Man I fucking love me some Red Dwarf

Brits are funny fags boy I'll tell you what

I really did like the original, will give a try.

I watched and enjoyed it on a kid level way back when. Is it actually funny?

Series 1-6 are golden, quality took a dive in the late 90s, the last couple years have been decent overall.

they made a new season?

They've made a few in recent years

I bet it stinks, bugger off.

Red Dwarf is legendary great british comedy. Love it.

I will give it a chance but the last season was not great. Almost every episode didn't have a real ending. Lazy writing. The first 6 seasons are all gold. I suggest starting there if you never saw the show. The original characterizations of the crew were much better than what they were turned into in the later seasons.

It's a huge quality improvement over the last season. The characters have changed because you can't hide the fact that the actors are middle aged now, but they've figured out how to deal with that this season and it's just as good as those first 6. There's a few episodes that I think are instant classics.

Good to hear.

The last new ones weren't great but I'll give it a chance. Any excuse to listen to that theme tune

Been watching since 1989, this past season felt very old-skool in parts, I dug it.
