We all had this same conversation about 8 months before the date, and agreed that saying something to him would probably backfire, and might actually make him more resolute in marrying the cunt. We thought maybe if we stayed neutral he would figure it out on his own and postpone or cancel the wedding.
Cut to the rehearsal dinner and his mother approaches myself and the other groomsmen. "Guys, please, is there any way you can convince my son that this is a HUGE mistake? He won't listen to me or his father."
This took us by surprise, because up until that point we assumed that his family was as oblivious to her cuntiness as he was.
We told her we'd try, but we didn't. I hoped that one of us would have the balls to pipe up during that part of the ceremony where the priest asks if any one has any objections, but we all stood there sheepishly grinning, not wanting to spoil the party.
So they got married. Within one month, bitch quits her job and proclaims that she was going to work on her poetry "full time". Working on her poetry seemed to be a euphemism for binging on Netflix and ice cream until my friend got home from his two jobs, when she would start hounding him for rolling a joint or looking at his phone.
In other words, shortly after the wedding she got a lot worse than we could have imagined. And our friend became deeply unhappy.
One year into the marriage and she was up a good 70lbs, no longer hot by any real standards, and super cunty. She told him who he could and could not hang out with, what he could spend his money on, and even what tv shows and podcasts he could listen to.
We barely saw him by this point, and almost never without her by his side. She hated us and our girlfriends. She refused to say hello or goodbye, she just stood by our friend like a sentry until she could pry him away.
Two years into the marriage and she was pregnant. There was the obligatory FB announcement, complete with picture of the "happy couple" embracing at Niagra Falls, and women commenting about how "adorbs" the baby was going to be.
Our friend called us over to his apartment shortly after the announcement was made. She was out for a few hours with her sister, shopping for cribs or some shit, so we had a window. We halfheartedly congratulated him before noticing that he looked awful, like he'd been sobbing all day. "We haven't fucked in 6 months" he whimpered.
Needless to say, the stupid cuck got cucked; properly cucked in the purest sense of the word.
We immediately started to tell him how this wasn't the worst case--that at least he knew and could walk away without any more deception or cuckoldry. Then one of our friends started to say something along the lines of "We were gonna say something at the rehearsal dinner, your mom..."
"What!" He started freaking out. "You guys knew she was this awful, and didn't say anything?!"
Well, yeah, I mean....
"What the fuck, guys? I counted on you, and you fucking lied to me? You've hated her this whole time?"
He asked us leave and none of us saw or heard from him in months, and when we finally did, he wasn't friendly or interested in talking. He basically swore us all off for close to 5 years, and has since articulated that he felt betrayed by us for not being honest with him before the wedding. None of us is really close friends anymore, and there is still no "look back and laugh" value when we see each other.
He divorced the bitch before the baby was born, had to take a paternity test to avoid child support, and married a cute Korean girl a few years ago. None of us has met her or was invited to their wedding. His best man was some Korean dude, probably his brother in law but who can really tell. They have two kids (adorbs) and live in a leafy suburb.
No one has seen the cunt wife or her cuck baby in a few years, but we can just assume she is being taken care of by some new sap, probably in the Bronx.
Long story short, if you're friends with the guy, tell him how you feel about his fiancé. It's not the easiest thing to do, but it could save a lot of heartache in the long run.
