I blame Joe Currie. I'm surprised there hasn't been more backlash against that insufferable faggot. Then again, nobody knows who he is. He's Anthony's best childhood friend, and has only been allowed in the studio once, the rest of the times he sits in the bleachers with a microphone and a laugh even more obnoxiously over the top than Anthony's.
He’s become a real fraudster, straining manically to pump things up with the unnatural enthusiasm they used to rip Jocktober targets for. There’s nobody out there in viewer land reacting the same way. In his mind he’s envisioning countless subscriptions re-ups when he pretends some throwaway line has reinvented the wheel of comedy. The moments of genuine hilarity that are generated by or around him ring hollow because of his constant desperation to oversell.
