I wish I didn't know so much about the gold statue race every year, because the rationales for what deserves to win gets more douchey every year. Films like this that are entirely white get dinged for lack of racial inclusiveness. The theme is going to be "women are great" this year because of Weinstein and others, which will help Three Billboards because of its theme of femininity fighting back. Dunkirk will have a lot to overcome socially despite its historical and epic prestige.
