I watched it 2 days ago and really enjoyed it. Is there any more recent stuff like that? I understand that it was inspired by the "70s exploitation" genre whatever the fuck that means but when i google it all those movies seems to be about schwoogies and i don't care for them.
shot caller is terrible. total fag enters prison, in 4 years hes leader of the aryan nation. gets out, still total fag but the boss now. without a hint of irony.
i was entertained, but i was disappointed. in contrast the brawl in cell block 99, which is this straight up over the top homma to prison explotation movies, shot caller was branded as being something "prison real"

Yea, the story is totally unbelievable and taken to the extreme. I was still entertained so I wouldn't call it a terrible movie
