I expected that when they returned to the show they would be mocking it and Opie would act embarrassed over it, as anyone who wasn't a giant faggot would do, but instead he gleefully says how that reaction was real and he seemed to be really proud of the commercial. This just took me by surprise. I didn't really differentiate Opie from Anthony at this point and I was genuinely shocked at what a faggot he was. It's at that point that I realized what an unfunny worthless person he was and that he didn't even belong on the show. Everything else about him really started to stand out to me after that.
everyone knows it's harder to be a guest on a show for ten minutes than it is to write, produce, and star in a nightly comedy show where you do stand-up, perform skits, film sketches, and interview guests. guests don't even have a desk to sit behind.

As a condition for returning, Gregg was very insistent with Bob that he get lined up with some Tv work. This single appearance on a shit prank show was the result.
