This call was a microcosm of Opie's lack of accountability in this post O&A mess
Jerry delivered critical points with composure and valid points. Opie melted down because he didn't have an honest response to this fair criticism. He deflected, made excuses and jumped to the "hater" angle.
If only this fat titted fool realized valid criticism doesn't mean they're a hater. Does that mean Tits was a hater his entire career when he shit on everyone in sight with a lot less material to work with than we have? What I'm trying to get at here is he's a thin skinned faggot.

This call is burned into my memory like any classic O&A bit. You can literally feel Opie's lack of confidence in what he's saying. Unlike most callers this guy didn't panic or try to make stupid jokes. Jerry makes his point and Opie just completely falls apart.
I was pretty much already done with the show by this point but boy, did this expose Opie for the emotional dunce that he is. This really solidified for me how little value Opie has as a host. He handled this so badly that it's embarrassing simply on a human to human level, let alone this guy being a fucking radio host.
