The show has gotten quite ridiculous, and had to end sooner or later. Curious to know if this was really part of the plan, or if they're now rewriting it to wrap up the arc just to disassociate from KS. Season 6 just started filming; shooting was recently disrupted on the day of that Maryland shooting, as a matter of fact. If they're improvising on the fly, the finality is going to infect all other story threads, and they've got a real headache on their hands.
I remember a few years ago, the show Penny Dreadful on Showtime abruptly had a stealth series finale without telling anyone in advance because they found out halfway through filming of season 3 they were getting canceled for poor ratings.
all spacey had to do was say it didnt happen, not come out and he would have been fine. Something tells me this was just a friendly career jump from one gay man to another so spacey can retire
the british knew how to do it better, honestly. Focus on the prime minister, the side characters and their bullshit stories don't matter, the wife doesn't fucking matter, and he's such an asshole that he gets assassinated in the end.
