As long as you don't say anything that glorifies violence, like "I'm glad Hitler is dead" or "Thank you for your service", you should be fine. Avoid quoting the problematic bits in the Star Spangled Banner, too - that "And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air" bit; and the whole third verse just to be sure.
