Yesterday/Thursday was a perfect example of why this show generally stinks and is just on autopilot. 5 minutes of Sam trying (and failing miserably) to make Jim laugh by recounting 'amusing' Late Night talk show skits, Jim sits there audibly uninterested to the point of almost anger. Then Sam says Boys II Men are coming in, and the thrill from Jimmy about this is almost palpable. Giddy as a school boy.
Great guests, great conversation. The guys are thrilled to be there every day, and we're thrilled to be there with them. Totally not just two guys punching a clock/praying for 10am daily.
