I never used to know that italian guys used to call women douchebags - like back in the greaser days. I always thought it was a term for men until I got a history lesson in a Carlin special. I guess things change over time? Also Skank was the name of a male character in The Wraith with Charlie Sheen. That's all I got.
The one that bothers me the most is "zips" which I always knew and loved as an ethic slur for Asians (e.g. "zips in the wire" from Platoon), but which I also now understand is how greaseballs refer to Italians from Italy
The show was inadvertently named by Big Jay's ex-wife. He was cheating on her constantly and one day in a fight she screams "Go back to your legion of skanks!"
YES! Exactly right, except you're missing an elipse; Jay then said 'Hey, that'd be a good name for a show'... his ex-wife then slapped him, bent him over, & put a beer can in his ass, She then kicked it hard until he repeated "Legion of skanks!!" many times.

Cringeworthy name. I've actually avoided the show for a long time because of the awful name and they're kind of annoying douchebags that seem to have undeserved egos.
But hey people seem to enjoy it, it's gaining popularity and the snippets I've heard are kind of funny.
