How would Opie react to Sirius XM buying out Anthony's podcast network and turning into a premium channel?

With Artie and Anthony as the flagship?
Let's say Artie and Anthony finishes a sold six month run on compound media without any major incidents, health scares, or blow ups.
A&A is really good in an audio only format (call it the ugly motherfucker effect). The awkwardness of set makes it somehow less funny in video format. The same goes w/ actually having to look at Ron Bennington in a video format, it's unsettling.
Faction Talk is a complete failure, every single show on the channel stinks.
Hoo Hoo's old lady kitten hour is alienating long time fans that want something raw and funny.
Discussions probably haven't happened about this yet, but Sirius XM executives are at least aware of what Anthony has been doing since he's been let back into the building.

It's way too edgy for SiriusXM circa 2017.

Opie would shit himself and say Anthony had been working against him behind the scenes all along.
It'll never happen though and even if Sirius did consider that deal, with Artie talking shit about Stern a lot in recent months I suspect he'd use all his pull to prevent it from ever happening.

A) Howard and Sirius XM didn't prevent Opie from trying to hire Artie, what happened is that Artie turned Opie down.
B) Howard keeps hinting that he wants to retire from radio and move exclusively to TV hosting gigs (AGT, whatever else).

Contract negotiation tactic is all that is.

He's 65 and has a billion dollars, there's a real possibility that he's just tired and bored.

You had to press two buttons to make the @ symbol, so why didn't you just type the word "at"?

Me: I thought of that idea years ago, but the guys down the hall always turned it down. Stern always had it out for me. That guy is almost a fawking billionaire and I heard he went to management and told them I was too politically incorrect. He actually liked Ant, but couldn’t stand me.......burp......queaf

The JAAS show? With Sam as show runner? It'd be good but better when Artie dies.

Jim has turned into an effeminate mess, and I wouldn't want Sam anywhere near this production.
Artie is funnier than Jim at this point.
Travis, Paul, Troy, and Roland on production.

Your scenario is as realistic as Jim Norton marrying his "girlfriend".
