I'll be in Sand Diego on Thursday. Only beer worth drinking there is Stone, which we have here in VA, as well as Green Flash. I drank IPA's for ten years and I'm officially done, but would love to drink a Stone IPA or Ballast Point straight from the source.

I've been there before. It's no different than Virginia Beach, where I've been living for the past 19 years, with all the military and whatnot. Mexican food is much better, though, in SD. I'm only spending a day in SD then heading up to LA and SF. The only reason we are going to SD is because my girlfriend wants to go to the fucking zoo.

Most of it tastes like shit and is over hopped just for the sake of branding. Plus you can't really drink a lot of it without getting sick of the taste. The odd really strong bottle can be okay but you can't beat a nice refreshing standard beer for those long lonely nights of getting drunk alone.
