Sympathy for The Opester

EVERYONE hates him. His legacy is shit. He has no major employment prospects. His wife will almost certainly leave him soon. Surely now he sees the error of his ways, and is filled with remorse and self-pity late at night. A guy with so much personal history with everyone at the Chip milestone podcast should've been in attendance, enjoying the merriment. Instead, he was repeatedly trashed. A twinge of sympathy for the loser is almost evident. He accomplished a lot, was part of a big and influential thing, and is now a total pariah. On some level you almost have to feel sorry for his current lot, if you have a shred of humanity. Perhaps he needs to go on a redemption tour, and finally admit that his misfortune was entirely self-inflicted.

No. He is pathologically narcissistic, insufferably stupid, and unequivically talentless. He is the biggest lottery-winner in radio history (even bigger than Robin Quivers), which is so much more than he deserves. He should get nothing but our hatred and derision, and should never, ever be allowed to broadcast again. That show was a success despite him, not because of him, to which nearly every member of it - save him - would attest.
