I’ve been listening to complete years of stern from early 2000’s and then I’ll randomly try a current episode and it’s fucking unlistenable. It really is insane what that show has become. And you can’t even have a conversation in that sub because they are all such blind loyalists they say anyone who complains doesn’t understand how the show had evolved
From the late 80s up to the movie in 97 were the best years IMO. He was still good after 97 though, up until Jackie left. Then things bottomed out for a while until Artie came on board, but that was already wearing thin by the time he went to satellite. Those bad years during the 00s were still miles better than it is now, though.
