Listened to his podcast with the Skanks today. Fuck, is Bert irritating. I legitimately don't think he's ever made me laugh or said anything even remotely clever even once. He's constantly wedging into conversations to talk about himself and overdramatize some bullshit story ("and that's when they said 'Bert, you've officially just CHANGED YOUR LIFE FOREVER!!!'") that made me audibly yell "ugh, shut the fuck up." Surrounding yourself with other funny people doesn't make you a good comic. Everybody must just tolerate the guy because he's such a champion of comics and a good hang or something. But when he starts talking like he's even close to the same level as pretty much any of his guests, it's completely cringey. Who the fuck would see that dude live? Really hoping they catch that stupid "machine" story for the 700000th time?
