he literally doesn't have a sense of humor. he doesn't get any jokes or understand why they're funny. it's like he's mimicking funny, like an alien trying to disguise itself as a human. i was listening to a compilation of bombs, and you hear him fake laugh before the silence kicks in after at least half of them. he can't differentiate what is and isn't funny. he's just going through the motions.
on a side note, the only time you'll hear opie's real genuine laugh, which sounds nothing like his fake one, is when they're being cruel to a shitty guest or staff member, which says a lot about him as a person.
His maniacal laugh right after the cakestomp was sociopathic and honestly disturbing. Both Ant and Jim's initial reactions were shock and embarrassment until the Greggshells kicked in.
What about when he had somebody remove Stalker Patti's wig? Everyone in studio besides him tapped out earlier but he pushed the issue. Dude is a psychopath.
