Artie has been great. I'm a little disappointed with Anthony. Usually when he has someone he can riff with he really steps up his game, but it has been all Artie since episode one. I can't think of a great Anthony line, but Artie and Vos had a bunch.
The show isn't perfect. He does repeat a lot of shit, probably because his memory is terrible from all of the drugs he can't remember if he told the story on the show or not. And they hit lulls talking about old TV and movies too much. But he's way better than I was expecting. I thought he'd show up for a paycheck until he got sick of it and not put any effort in. But he's trying to make it a good show, especially today.
he is used to be second mic, like artie. artie is still second mic while anthony acts like first mic - so he is not at his natural positin. but I guess its still better than his solo shows or anthony as interviewer.
Anthony is still a working man. Its the same reason newly self-employed people fall into a pit - there is no "work"to go to. His humor is rooted in shitting on the boss. He cant do that at compound. He should leave, let that be its own thing, and go work for, i dont know, siriusXM. or, start a show on riotcast.
ant is sill uncomfortable as "host" he forces himself to laugh way too hard at everything, cant wait to see what happens when ant goes on one of his race rants
So far there's been one bad show (001), one OK show (003) and two good shows (002, 004). It's definitely much more entertaining than Jim and Sam but the same problems are doing my head in. Artie's circular story telling, Ant's laughing at anything, the old references, sopranos, 70's/80's TV. It's all a bit much. But moments like Artie and Hanson and the vos "if" bit are definitely promising. Chemistry between Ant and Artie was better today too. I'd grade it a C+ so far. For reference, J&S I'd give an unironically D- to.
Has certainly been much better than I expected. Still not sure how long they can keep this up, but I'm enjoying the show so far. Listening to the first hour+ of yesterday's show on my drive in this morning, I was laughing my balls off a few times.
You people also said Jim and Sam was good in the beginning. You people also said that Opie showed promise after Anthony was fired in 2014. I don't trust anything you say is good.

Actually, it is really fucking compelling "TV" for all the wrong reasons. Like watching a radio version of The First 48 Hours.

Or an ISIS video.

Actually, their behavior makes it like a modern version of the movie 48 Hours.
One guy is beat up, smoke voiced and crotchety, and the other guy is black.

A radio version of... Intervention

I just hope Keef doesn't stop Artie from shitting on crappy guests.

yeh loved him shittin on hanson.

There's nothing he can do about it. Artie is going to do what he wants and they're stuck with him.

I hope so.

Artie would laugh in that cucks face. Then Artie would tell us about. Like Gavin if Gavin were a male

at least artie will be to high to bother reading all of keith's gay emails about cutting down on the kid fucking and nigger stuff.

I don't think anything can stop Artie from shitting.

Patrice is more likely to show up than Joe Fagaresse.

Only thing that bugs me about Artie is the same stories he tells and he steam rolls over people too much.

I like how we give him that kind of credit for showing up to his job four days in a row.
1 PaintedPicture 2017-09-12
So far he hasn't really done that
1 grocery_man 2017-09-12
Are you joking? He's done it loads of times.

That's true but Ant has to still play the opie role of leading the show

It is hard to host and be funny at the same time, apparently
1 humanmeat 2017-09-12
any "archive" to preview them for nonsubscribers?
1 YourMomIsATroll 2017-09-12
I hate to say it but I laughed even more then once.
1 PaintedPicture 2017-09-12
Artie kept saying," he's playing to the crowd". There's no doing artie feeds off the energy of a live crowd. Hope you degenerates can keep showing up
1 ProudOfYourBoy2 2017-09-12
If you say "riffing" you should slit your wrists. Artie and anthony are old Lady faggots and you're all bi sexual at best for watching

It was pretty fun to watch Artie get under Christ Hansen's skin.

So far so good. But will see how it holds up in the long run. Also a lot will depend on who they bring on as guests.

I don't know because I haven't seen the AA show, but I have a hard time believing this is even remotely true.
I have a sneaking suspicion that this is a mildly amusing program at best, in a sea of pedestrian bullshit that has always been Ant's shitty network.
After all, if you give a starving man a cracker, he'll think it's the best goddamn thing he's ever eaten.
