FM radio executives are retarded (I mean they keep shows like Rover, Kidd Chris, Bob + Tom on air) and are looking for anything to save it. They are also 10-20 years behind the times.

Opie did the work to resurrect the show time and time again while Anthony sat and waited for a call telling him where to follow Opie, gotta give him credit and say he will have another job though his prime is past, as is Stern's radio time.

Terrestrial radio is in a death spiral and race to the bottom. It's wall-to-wall ads and very little content. FM talk format is pretty much dead unless it's sports or local radio with legacy personalities who have been grandfathered in.
