No it doesn't. Some goes to channel 4 and a smaller amount to ITV I think too. I don't really watch BBC stuff these days but the cost is pretty fucking cheap IMO. I use the website and radio stuff enough to make it value for money.
It is cheap but none of it goes to channel 4 or ITV, look it up. Both are primarily funded by advertising revenue. Another positive about the beeb though, no adverts. Again, have a lot of time for the BBC in some ways and it is value for money, just not a fan of the compulsory licence fee in principle - surely a no licence fee/no access to any BBC content would be better in a free market economy.
