I don't understand why he threw himself so haphazardly into this venture, trying to raise/spending untold thousands for an entire "studio." Why didn't he just spend $500 on a Zoom H6 & a couple of mics and try hosting a straight up "podcast" first, and see how that went? It would have been a nice inexpensive litmus test to determine whether or not to take another massive step.
His doing this is the equivalent of Tommy Wiseau spending $3 million dollars on a camera package to make a feature instead of renting one for 1/80th the cost.
I have been searching for someone to listen to that has at least the level of irrational hatred that Anthony does, but is also completely lacking humor and is somehow stupider. GBA Army
It's not good. Listened to the whole thing. Not sure how this is possible but almost as if it's on a loop, yet simultaneously in a different place in time where it is supposedly a loop. It broke my brain.
There was a comment in the O&A ummasked that at one point he hoped it was going to be the Opie and Brother Joe show. I suspect allowance or no, there is some resentment that he didn't get that gig. He got enough plugs that he managed to be a full time musician and quit his day job (and whatever money Anthony gives him), but while it's not HVAC Regular Joe work, unless you have the money for roadies and instrument techs, it is an immense amount of work. Not every day of course. But I played enough shit bar gigs to say that for most guys playing bar gigs to say it is a lot of work. They might have a guy that helps, but I doubt they have other people hauling their gear and taking care of their instruments.

Don't compare Joe to a true artist.

The bigger question is why the hell he ever thought people would give a shit about what he has to say about anything.

I honestly thought he was still doing this.
It was more promising than The Opie Pop Up Shows.

This is before he fell in with the wrong crowd and joined that motorbike club.

Holy shit, the side of the headphones have Anthony's logo. Ahh jeez Joe.
1 TOPICALJOKELOL 2017-08-15
Joe's entire identity is tied up in Anthony being moderately successful 10 years ago. I'd feel bad for him if he wasn't such an asshole.

I wonder what ever happened to Joe Pies. Such a sweet boy.
