I think it would be better if the Tesla job offer thing is real.
Some big station hires him, gives him a morning show, throws money at him, and it's a complete disaster. Ratings drop 80% and they just fire him and pay out the rest of his contract, switch over to a jukebox and become the #1 station in the market.
He already has so much money, getting more isn't a victory, it's just more of a reminder that he'll never be Howard.
