A few days ago, I re-listened to the four biggest fights between Opie and Anthony, and Opie and Jim (2 each).
In each of the four fights, Opie stresses that he is happier and having more fun than he has had in years. He also said this toward the end to his room full of paid buddies.
Just between me and you guys, I think the guy is a liar.
The fact he had to pay people to pretend to tolerate him and conjure camaraderie toward the end is, perhaps, the saddest indictment of Gregg as a popular broadcaster.
And this was after he spent an hour bitching about how depressing it was working with Ant after they lost their chemistree. I think Jimmy even called him out on it straight away.
