A lot of guests like Robin and she's smart enough to have kept a working relationship with the star of the show. If for some reason she did a solo show, she would still get A-list guests because of the loyalty of the fans would ensure ratings, and could even branch out to get housewives that miss having a fat black woman tell them what to think.

We've seen how Opie handled it. I will never again criticize Robin for being a cackling bitch, because she is also an attack dog anytime someone dares criticize Howard. Where as Opie decided the show was over with Ant, then sat around cackling. That fucking roadtrip footage was humiliating.
