Did Opie even get a second segment on Brother Wease?
34 2017-08-03 by StrongStyleGamer
The only shit both Opie and Wease's station posted is a 20 minute break which includes them repeatedly trying to find out why he was fired and Opie deflecting and blaming Howard. After they go to commercial Opie says "We didn't even talk about why I was really fired" (What a faggot why did you deflect when on air then shitdick?) and then both videos end.
They drove upwards of 6 hours one direction to do 20 minutes on a single radio station in the 76th radio market in the country.

His wife has definitely left him.

He drove 6 hours to do the last raqio appearance of his life, and he knows it.

It's like radio 25th Hour.

That was a great movie. Cameo by Patrice makes it even better.

Hopefully...

He is going on Bernie & Sid in WABC next week

They were on for 3 hours. But Wease had a paramedic on to talk about opiate overdoses and a chef. But Wease mainly talked to Carl.

That's because it's litterally impossible for Opie to carry on a conversation unless the conversation is being carried 100% by someone who's got his undivided attention. Like in the case of the Rogan podcast.

Opie really is horrible at Radio...Opie gets credit for finding/bringing on Ant but I think Ant is really who carried Opie for 20 years.
1 DOPIEandSTANLEY 2017-08-03
I agree 100%. Ant is such a personable guy. The only thing Opie did for the show was negotiate ruthlessly and without conscience on their behalf. Ant would have done local for life.

hmmm, interesting take. Many of us haven't considered this before

Hey that's a hot take ya got there
1 Three_Finger_Brown 2017-08-03
This is exactly why Ant or Jimmy always did the interviews with guests. There is no way Opie can direct a conversation other than interrupting to go to the phones.

I tried both and never heard the "I've lived the life of a comic" part.

I'm guessing paramedic mentioned fentanyl & analoques, carrying a narcan/naloxone shot, contamination of drugs, rising numbers of calls

Are you yawning because you're on heroin?
1 Toss__Pot 2017-08-03
LOL, yawning is actually indicative of withdrawals, but I'm fine!

Maybe Wease let Opie run the board.
1 danimalplanimal 2017-08-03
who the hell even is Brother Wease? seriously, someone help me out here...

The guy that raped Opie when he first started doing radio.
1 DOPIEandSTANLEY 2017-08-03
Hence his aversion to uncle Paul.

Shhhhhuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurre

It's not rape if it's consensual.
1 --DC-- 2017-08-03
It's not rape if it is being done to Opie.
1 StrongStyleGamer 2017-08-03
I think Opie interned with him when was 18 years old and for some reason he REALLY likes the guy even though they have no chemistry or interesting history.
1 SpaceGrey550 2017-08-03
He ain't got no dad no more. I'm guessing weaze is the one male role model he looks up to that wouldn't spit in his face, given the chance
1 carribbeanjimmy 2017-08-03
Opie looks up to his father in law who's 4 years younger than him

PHILLY CREEEEEWWWWWWWW

He was doing the Spuds Buckley thing when he was 18. He was with Wease in his 20s and I don't think he was there long because he went to Buffalo for an overnight job.
1 turnthemaround 2017-08-03
Opie's mentor when he started out (what a fag). Always the one person Opie sort of shows loyalty to. He does this because he wants all the young people who worked for him to show him loyalty. He thinks he's following some radio disk jockey code.
1 Suibu 2017-08-03
Man don't have much than the disk jockey code, tell u what'

Bad ass Vietnam vet who Opie and Carl had to restrain from fucking up feared Rochester gang leader Ray Ray Tuesday night.
1 Randal_X 2017-08-03
Gregg and Carl drove all night to dip deep on The King, you hatter.
1 MicroPeckah 2017-08-03
Nonsense. We all know da Chippah is king.
1 Randal_X 2017-08-03
Does he have multiple urologists? And if so, why?
1 Reaktif 2017-08-03
The Guido King probably has been saying that 3 urologist joke since the early 80's
1 Randal_X 2017-08-03
Spun from a single kidney stone of truth.
1 BarryMcCaulkener 2017-08-03

I can't remember: was "The Afternoon Hang with Tits & The Gang" crushing it or killing it?
And is what Tits and Carl were doing on Wease's show yesterday an example of crushing/killing it?
Can a future employer expect that kind of effort, or were they just showing off yesterday?
1 spicysandwich80 2017-08-03
I expect Opie to continue to slide to Instagram/Facebook full time. The low Youtube hits and high dislikes are embarrassing to future employers

I catch Wease's replay on my way in to work. Bad radio really wakes me up. I heard Opie speak once then a paramedic came on... the fuck? Wease should have retired 20 years ago, when he used to have cohosts who were semi listenable and still sucked. Now he has a cuck who can't help but mention his tomato sauce every break, and the worst hole I've ever heard in my life.
If Opie called her out for being the dumb cunt she is I would forgive him for everything.
