Any of you ever had a Venus fly trap? Thinking about getting a couple for my patio but not sure how well they work. Opie has huge tits.

Well my shit post had to be in one way or another about the O&A universe so I made a simple observation.

Yes I used to keep them for a little while when I was younger. The only real care you need to give them is you are supposed to use rain or distilled water and they will "die" in the winter but you can't let them get below freezing because they will actually die them.

I read about the water and I live in San Diego so freezing isn't an issue. During the summer I enjoy eating outside and am wondering if the flies will still land on the food or be drawn to the plant?

No clue, I live in Ohio so they stayed inside.

Fuck it $5 a price. It's worth a shot.

If you're looking for fly control, you might want to go for a pitcher plant. It'll kill a lot more flies

Unfortunately that one needs to be hung and the overhangs I have we're built in the 50's so I don't trust them to hold much.

Do you care about plants more than humans?

No, I don't really give a shit about either but if I had to choose between every opium or pot plant or every person I've ever met, to die. I'd pick the people to die without hesitation.

Home Depot needs to sell some potted opium

Guy i work with had a couple. He says they cant eat often or they die so touching them can kill them because they will use to much energy.

Yeah they are hard to care for. Die easily. Get some kudzu

I used to be fascinated with flytraps. I quickly learned that despite their menacing looks, they are incredibly fragile. Like Big Jay.
If you touch the hairs they die, if they can't get flies they die, if they catch something they're not supposed to they die, if it gets too cold they die, so on...

Same here. As a kid my mom had some and I learned very quickly that they do not like little boy penises put into them.

After you've placed the head of your dick in all of them, and they've all closed-up, they get pretty boring.
