Why doesn't Opie just start a podcast?

Look, we all know the cancellations are out of control. I don't see why he doesn't rent some office space in the city and set up his own podcast with his own guys. Downloads would be off the charts with his fan base. He can get ads. I don't see why he would want to have a middle-man when he can keep all this sweet cash for himself.

Let's give a conservative estimate of the money he will make from podcasting-- ~7 million dollars annually. The problem is that such an enterprise may draw heat from the IRS. Opie rather be paid by a company because managing such intense cash flows on his own and understanding what to do with it would be a serious undertaking.

I never considered this.. This makes sense.

Are you fucking high? He wouldn't make 7 cents off a podcast.

I bet he could figure out how to get paid to not have a podcast.

You're litterally literal

Plus it could bring heat onto his mafia connections

Anyone else realize the rock music in the beginning of the podacast is a direct assault on the Opsters stupid intro music?

I think that you can directly gain concrete figures regarding downloads and rankings with your peers Opie, deep down in his sensitive little heart knows that his "numbahs" would be greatly scrutinized and ridiculed. He need a more vague platform where the numbers aren't open to the public and he can blame his shortcomings on others or management. I normally try to make my responses here funny, but I think in this particular instance just the cold hard titty hurting truth will do.

Anthony was up and running with his own show one month after being fired.
Lets see how ambitious Opie is. My guess is we never hear from him again. All he seems to have left are dinner dates with a midget Sasquatch.

He has Stern Disease and thinks he's above it

because he lacks the work effort to do it himself, and nobody with a podcast network would ever have him on.

A) he doesn't know how to. B) he's afraid of of how poorly it will do.

He doesn't know how.
He's delusional and thinks it's below him.
He doesn't realize yet that no one wants to hire him and he may have to do one. He's too busy at the beach tanning his tits.

He thinks he is at the same level as Howard Stern and that podcasting would be beyond him I am sure.
