I really just liked watching a 70mm movie in the IMAX. The airplane scenes looked amazing. It was a lot more boring than I thought it was going to be.

I agree with this, sound editing and cinematography will win deserved Oscars but the story bored me. I didn't care about the characters at all. When I heard people calling this the best War movie ever made it enraged me. Better than Private Ryan and Metal Jacket? Only because it's overrated Nolan. With his Hans Zimmer noises playing through out 99% of the film and his uninteresting storylines.
