Jim and Sam comes on at 7 am but the first hour is PRE-TAPED THE DAY BEFORE. The guys come in live from 8-10 am and sign off at 10 am for Jason Extreme in the west but then keep rolling, pretending it's next morning and they welcome everyone to the thrilling conclusion to their fascinating interview with Mick Foley or whoever.

They tell everyone, "Hey, you wanna to hear the rest of this fascinating interview with Mick Foley? Tune in tomorrow at 7 am..."

Go live with headlines of the day at 8 am and carry on. Bing. Bang. Boom. Paul's your uncle. You got your same three hours of work for Jim, same guests at 10 am, but an actual real morning prime timeslot.

Sam is there at 7:07 anyway. If there is some shit going on the world that really needs to be addressed (like a terrorist attack or a Maria Menounos sex tape) the producers can throw on an 8 minute long intro (its been done before) and Sam'll grab the stick and handle it live.
