He is so proud of his swimming pool, he'll bring it up for no reason, all the time. He also thinks he had something to do with the moon landing because of his (mistaken) whiteness.

I have one theory. Something bad happened to young Ant while swimming July 20, 1969. Everyone else was glued to the tv watching the moon landing, while some older gen'lman was out back with Anthony, techin him to doggie paddle. Whatever else happened to him on that fateful day has been stuck in a rotting corner of his brain, manifesting itself in this strange obsession with pools and living vicariously through the accomplishments of NASA.
