Sherrod blamed Opie for RaceWars being taken off that channel. Vic was the one who initially stopped talking to Opie when he found out he wasn't getting paid. He texted him something like, "It's been a good run, Op."
Opie promised those three money because the belief was Norton was going to Raw Dog with Sam so they'd have money in the channel budget. In the end Norton and Sam stayed, got raises, and Opie lost the channel and was told there wasn't any money for them. He did end up giving them something, but not what he promised.
