Daily Show used to have such smart and subversive writers. Is it the same people still there? I can't tell if it's new shittier people, or the "get Trump" stuff just limits the hell out of them, but it's so unbecoming of them to get beat over the head with the most obvious jokes like this. I guess it's the intent more than the actual quality now, just a place for everyone to go and reaffirm "Drumpf is stoopid."
This isn't the Daily Show. It is John Oliver's show Last Week Tonight. It is much better than the Daily Show, but I suspect many of those writers found there way there.
