Same. I listened to that clip because he made it sound like they trashed him. They didn't. They basically just spent half an hour going "why doesn't he like us?" And complimenting eachother. One of them actually called the other one "handsome" and not in a sarcastic jokey way.
I listened to their show a couple times their first week on the channel, and couldn't believe how bad it was. It was just like some people with a sound machine pretending to be O and A thirteen years ago.
I listened again this past Friday. It was about as awful as it gets. Standard zoo crew material with two guys with fake voices, doing bad impersonations. They always have to tell you who their impersonations are, cuz you'd never guess otherwise.
They went to the phones and some guy plugged Jim and Sam and told them they sucked. They came back with, "just like your mom?", and, "you waited on hold 35 minutes for that?". And then they moved on. Why do these stupid radio shows think it is such a chore to be on hold?
I have given them a chance many times and they stink so bad. I feel like I am listening to a podcast no one else listens to. Clearly Sirius management does not give a shit at this point. Also to give Ellis 4 hours is downright asinine. I listen to the comedy channels more often now.
They were always horrible. The first week Stern came to Sirius, he goofed on their asses,they got all butt hurt and whiny.Maybe there's a clip of it somewhere.
